Dr Shahid Abbas (GP)

Dr Shahid Abbas (GP) is our principal practitioner. He has worked in several hospitals and emergency departments in Australia as well as overseas. Dr Abbas has been practicing medicine for over 24 years. His special interests include Children’s health, Chronic disease management, Skin cancer as well as minor surgical procedures.

Dr Abbas speaks fluent English, Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi and Dari.

Diploma of Child Health, Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine, Skin Cancer and Cosmetic/Aesthetics treatment.

Dr Tooraj Chamacham (GP)

Dr Chamacham (GP) has served the Cranbourne community for 10 years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our clinic in Emergency Medicine, Skin Care and performing minor surgeries.

When he was younger, Dr Chamacham worked with the United Nations in Emergency Medicine in the Middle East and Central America. He enjoys all areas of medicine, however has a particular interest in Primary Cancer Medicine and Mental Health.

Dr Chamacham is fluent in English, Persian, Pharisee, and has some basic knowledge of Turkish and Spanish.

Dr Mian Hameedullah

Dr. Hameedullah has worked at various hospitals and clinics across Australia over the last 12 years. He has gained a wealth of knowledge and is always keen to meet new patients from all age groups.

Dr. Hameedullah has a clinical interest in chronic disease management, mental health, diabetes, geriatric medicine, minor surgical procedures, men’s health, children’s and adolescent’s health.

Languages: English, Pashto, Urdu and Hindi.

Jessica has worked as a nurse for 10 years. She started her career as an Enrolled nurse and now practices as a Registered Nurse (Div1). The first 5 years of her nursing degree, she was a team leader in aged care / dementia specific wards, before commencing in a GP community setting in 2015.

Jess has a special interest in community and general practice nursing and enjoys working with patients of all ages and having the ability to build a rapport with our regular patients. Jess is involved in Chronic Disease Management, Immunisations, Education and Preventative Care, minor procedures, wound management among many other duties.

Dietitian- Hilda
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD, AN)  
Hilda graduated with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics with Honours from Monash University. Since then she has worked in clinics all across Melbourne, and has helped many patients from various ages and cultural backgrounds in improving their diet, health and wellbeing.

Hilda specialises in weight management and diabetes. Her interest in food in weight management stems from personal experience struggling with her weight since childhood. Since becoming a dietitian she has found the balance in enjoying physical health, whilst still being able to enjoy her favourite foods and the social aspect of food. She is passionate about using her own past experiences, combined with her extensive training, work experience and the latest scientific evidence to assist her patients to have a healthy lifestyle without restriction and guilt.   

Hilda is also able to consult in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Amy graduated with honours back in 2006 and is an experienced Podiatrist having worked both in the U.K. and Australia.

Amy brings a tremendous skill set to the clinic having years of experience in all aspects of podiatry including:

  • Diabetic foot assessments
  • Wound management
  • Ingrown toenail surgery
  • Biomechanics
  • Foot assessments for diabetes
  • General foot care

A podiatrist treats various conditions and disorders of the foot and lower leg. The main aim of Podiatrist is to prevent the aggravation of the condition and improve mobility and quality of life by proactive management of the underlying condition.

Bridgette brings a wealth of knowledge and skill in all aspects of Podiatry. They provide our patients with a compressive service the including:

  • Neurovascular foot assessments

Back in Motion (Physiotherapy)

Sheena is a titled member of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia, she completed her Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2010. Sheena has extensive experience working in hospitals and private practices. She is very passionate about physiotherapy and loves to help the community. Her special interests involve diagnosis and management of complex spinal conditions (neck and back) and shoulder injuries that have difficult recoveries. She also takes interest in rehabilitation of sports injuries and helping people return to sport. She utilities dry needling and kinesio tapping as adjuncts to manual therapy in the management of musculoskeletal and sport injuries.

Sheena has vast experience in treatment pelvic girdle pain and sees great results in her patients. She can also help treat headaches, vertigo and TMJ (jaw pain). She also can assist pre and post pregnancy problems.

Harleen is passionate about the treatment and prevention of sports injuries and strives to achieve the best outcomes for long term results for her clients. She also can help treat headaches and spinal pain.

She finds great results in treating arthritis and helping to tailor an individualised exercise plan for her patients, particularly arthritic and diabetic patients. She is also involved in a foot clinic which deals with various foot conditions.

Harleen can help with posture problems and can provide effective ergonomic advice. She can assist you in organising a workstation that best suits you and your needs. Harleen can bulk bill patients who have Enhanced Primary Care plan, Workcover, TAC or DVA patients. Please speak with your GP to see if you qualify.
